the mimosa offers fantastic views and a welcoming atmosphere. the staff was exceptionally helpful, facilitating everything from car rentals to laundry needs. we enjoyed the option to cook some meals, reducing our dining out.

Indoor pool with warm water

Ocean views from the higher rooms made our stay memorable.

During our 4 nights, we faced constant challenges with parking, as the hotel had limited spaces and no prior confirmation from the staff was received despite our inquiries. The room had no air conditioning, contributing to sleepless nights in the sweltering heat. To make matters worse, the kitchenette was outdated and difficult to use, leaving us frustrated at mealtime.

The sea view was stunning and the kids really loved the lively entertainment programs every evening. Our room was cozy and tidy, and the complex had great amenities like indoor and outdoor pools, which the whole family enjoyed. Plus, we were able to book exciting nature activities at reception.

In my wife’s opinion, a few more kitchen utensils for families would be great.

i loved the convenience of being just a few steps away from the beautiful passeio publico maritimo e jardins do lido, making it perfect for my daily strolls. The nearby restaurants offered delicious local dishes that were a treat after exploring the city.

The breakfast was plentiful and well presented, and it was a treat to enjoy a room with a stunning view that made mornings feel special. Although the kitchenette lacked some basic cooking items, it was still functional for our needs. The location made it easy to hop on the bus to different attractions around Funchal.
